"Westbrook High School’s Interact Club is hosting a winter clothing drive from January 3, 2022, to January 14, 2022. We will be collecting new and gently used winter gear such as warm clothing, outerwear, gloves, hats, socks, etc. There will be multiple drop-off boxes in the cafeteria and near the main offices to drop donations off. **Anyone interested in completing the STEM Endorsement please join the google classroom for announcements about ELO Opportunities, paperwork and deadlines. The classroom code is: szttwzy ***The Blaze Vending Machine located in the hallway outside the nurses office is now fully operational!! You can get Breakfast from the top 2 rows and Afterschool Snacks from the bottom 3 rows - all at no charge!!! Just put in your student lunch number. If you do not know your lunch number please write to either Lynn Gnade at or Mary Emerson at Our Youth Leadership Coalition (YLC) is looking for new members! YLC works on creative and fun ways to spread awareness on substance use in our community. This coalition is also a great way to add to your resume, or for community service hours for the NHS. TEEN TRENDSETTERS is looking for 20 mentors to join this year's program. If you're looking for Leadership and Community service/volunteer hours or thinking about becoming a teacher. This is the club for you. We are a program that helps 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders with reading. Please contact Mr. Russell ( for more information. ****If you're looking for some Community Service Hours, Mr. Russell is looking for a Volunteer or two to work with a group of elementary school-aged kids in an afterschool Bowling - Laser tag -Arcade program. This program will begin in January and will run once a week until February break. This is a great opportunity for someone to earn up to 40 hours of community service and have a blast doing it.
