The WHS Sock’ n Buskin’ Drama Club production of is this week. The shows are at 7pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and at 2pm on Sunday. Tickets are $7 for students and $10 for adults. This fantastical, comic production, was written by Maine playwright John Cariani. Come on out, have some fun, and support your classmates.
This year’s talent show will be held at the Westbrook Performing Arts Center on January 9th. It is a night, with a 1st place prize of $500. If you are interested in performing or know someone who might be interested, please contact Mr. Solomon before holiday break.

Interact Club will be ringing bells for the Salvation Army this Saturday at Shaws in Westbrook. Please sign up with Dr. Dyer or Kamdyn Russell.

The Westbrook High School Civil Rights Team is hosting the 9th Annual Multicultural Dinner on December 11th from 5-7PM in the cafeteria. All students and staff are welcome to attend. The dinner is potluck-style, so please feel free to bring some food or drinks to share.
A 2018 WHS and student at Maine Maritime Academy (Sydney Cole) will be at the high school Tuesday, December 17 during ACE to discuss the awesome opportunities at MMA. MMA was just recognized as one of the top colleges in the country for return on your investment because the students end up in very high paying careers. Please send Mrs. Sturgis a tag request or email if you are interested in attending this information session.
ASVAB testing at the high school will be on Thursday, December 21 in the morning. The ASVAB test is the military entrance exam. If you have an interest in joining the military and want to try this test please send Mrs. Sturgis an email to get on the list.
