Congratulations to the girls field hockey quarter final win over a tough Cheverus team with an exciting 4-3 win!! On to the semi-finals on Saturday TBD.

The awesome folks from the Locker Project will be in the Cafe at 1:30 dismissal with fresh fruit, vegetables and other food items from area grocery stores…please stop by the cafeteria on your way out and pick up some items to take home for yourself and your family.
Students interested in joining or hearing more about the Black Student Union for WHS should come to the first meeting Oct.29th in room 114. Request a tag from Mr. Lesinski.
Students interested in Spanish club should request a tag for Thursday this week or come speak to Ms. Anderson in room 111.
Westbrook City Clerk, Angela Holmes, will be at Westbrook High School on October 23 to process both absentee ballot applications and new voter registration for both students and adults.
Ms. Holmes will be in the cafeteria from approximately 11:30- 1:00PM.
The flu shot clinic will be this Thursday. You must have completed paperwork to receive the shot. All ACE teachers received forms. If you need another one, please stop by the Main Office.
The senior class is putting on a senior vs. staff volleyball game on October 24, at 6 all proceeds go to the class of 2020!
The WHS National Honor Society is sponsoring a Fall Blood Drive on Friday October 25th (White Day) from 8am until 1pm in the Gymnasium. Sign-up for students will be from Tuesday October 15th until Thursday October 24th during Lunches in the Cafeteria. Please help in support by signing up to donate. Any questions/concerns, please see Mr. Chabot in room 302.
Any student interested in doing the Interact Club—a service group at WHS, please see Dr. Dyer or Kamdyn Russell
1) “October is LGBTQ+ History Month! Please take advantage of the events that are happening this month by checking out the list of events happening this month!”
2) “Spectrum, Westbrook High School's LGBTQ+ club, will begin meeting on October 3rd in room 325 during ACE. Please request a tag from Mrs. Joyce or Mr. Taylor to attend!”
Students may stop in the Main Office for a parking pass form. The cost is $6.00. ALL students must park in the student parking lot-not the teacher lot!
There will be a girls basketball informational meeting at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, October 24 for anyone interested in playing this year.

Do any of these interest you? Plan on attending the Career Panel during ACE on Thursday 10/24 in room 114. Learn about different careers, career paths and majors in college. This panel will be facilitated by our JMG students and you will be able to ask questions. This is the only career discussion being planned this year so sign up if you are interested in learning more.

Interested in the legislative process? The Maine State Senate is providing students the opportunity to be Honorary Pages through their Honorary Page Program. You get to see firsthand the legislative process and deliver messages and documents to State Senators.
