Students may stop in the Main Office for a parking pass form. The cost is $6.00. ALL students must park in the student parking lot-not the teacher lot!
There will be a WHS Drama Club meeting after school in the auditorium from New members are encouraged to attend. See Mr. Solomon in room 314 if you have any questions.
Anyone interested in joining Model United Nations, please request an ACE tag from Ms. Locke in room 109 for Thursday, September 19th during ACE to gain more information.
"The Trailblazers club, Westbrook's Outing Club, is hosting an after school information and gear session on Thursday. Those interested in joining the outing club should see Mr. Davis or Ms. Keefe and/or attend the event. Meet in room 207 after school on this coming Thursday."
The Civil Rights Team will meet Friday during ACE in room 223. There will be food!
There will be a key club meeting this Friday during ace in the Cafe for returning and new members.
Big Brother Big Sister applications are available outside of Dr. Dyer’s door opposite the main office. Big Brothers Big Sisters will be in the cafe on Thursday and Friday. If you would like to be a mentor in the program, please sign up!
The WHS Interact Club will be visiting Springbrook Nursing Home on Thursday during ACE. Please get a permission slip from Dr. Dyer (bulletin board outside of Room 215 opposite the main office). You must have a signed permission slip to participate.

Seniors - Admissions Reps from Southern Maine Community College will be at the high school on November 19 to help you fill out applications to SMCC. $20 application fee will be waived. If you have an English SAT score above 350 you will be accepted.

Juniors and Seniors:
Every month we are invited to take some students to the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce Eggs & Issues. The next one takes place Friday, September 13 @ 7am. Commissioner Heather Johnson will be discussing how the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development is helping communities and businesses prosper.
If you are interested in attending this free event with me (transportation is provided), please email me back and let me know if you want egg or fruit plate. I need to know by Thursday, September 5th. Students will need to return a signed permission slip. You will return for period 2 class. This is an excused absence but you are responsible for making up any work. This is first come first serve so email me back asap if you are interested.

Looking for an after school job? We have had a few Westbrook companies contact us with great paying after school jobs. If you are interested in learning more, please stop by the Aspirations Center. You must be 16 or older.
