In light of the horrific events that occurred in Christchurch, New Zealand on Friday, the Westbrook Civil Rights Team would like to express our sympathies and condolences to those who are effected and suffering as a result of this attack.  Hatred and bigotry have no place in our community, our nation or the world.  We also would like to show our support and appreciation for the wonderful, vibrant Muslim community here at Westbrook High School.  If you are looking for ways to help or get involved, please visit here.

"Girlfriend, let me break it down for you again
You know I only say it cause I'm truly genuine
Don't be a hard rock when you really are a gem
Baby girl, respect is just a minimum." - by  Ms. Lauryn Hill singer, songwriter, artist, activist

The Westbrook High School Civil Rights Team would like to encourage all students and staff to take time this month, along with every month, to recognize and respond in some positive ways to Women's History Month.  Women's History is American History.
