Westbrook is hosting a Community Reading Event. We invite members of the community read Wonder by P.J. Palacio in honor of the movie release. Please visit your school library or Walker Memorial Library to borrow a copy of the book. In addition to reading Wonder, we are hosting a writing contest and a community viewing of the movie. "WHS is having a Blood Drive (sponsored by the National Honor Society) on May 3rd. All students and staff are welcome to sign-up to donate. You must be 17+ years old (16 with parental consent...paperwork must be filled out prior to donating). See Mr. Chabot in room 211 if you need more details/paperwork. For Juniors Only: The University of Maine (Orono) admissions representative will be at the high school on Monday, May 21 to meet with juniors one-on-one. Using your transcript and SAT scores, you will get a "pre-read" on your application and find out about merit scholarships and ways to improve your application.
