All students should be checking their email daily. If you receive an email from Ms. Harvey, Ms. Brooks or Ms. Redmond about a missed class, you must either respond to explain the absence, or serve detentions as assigned for skipping.

 

FBLA students are having a clothing sale in the Vocational Building room 411 on Thursday & Friday from 7:45-2:30. All items are $5 and under. Please stop by and purchase some items at unbeatable prices.

 

There will be a National ART Honor Society meeting the last 15 of ACE on Thursday in room 315 at 11:10.

Reminder:   Jazz Choir meets tonight (Thursday) from 6:30-8pm

 

The Student Council is looking for candidates to represent their grades in special elections later this month. If you're interested in running to be a student representative, you need to sign up in the main office by Friday, January 12. See Mr. Ennis, Mr. Haines, or Mr. Morgan if you have any questions.

 

Senior superlative voting is open. Seniors-check your email or see Ms. Andersen with questions!

 

Westbrook High School will be hosting several local companies during ACE the next few weeks. Learn more about opportunities and careers for both high school students and soon to be graduates. Thursday, Jan 11:  Procter and Gamble (P&G), a large global manufacturer of household products, has a plant in Auburn. Meet a 2008 WHS graduate to hear about his career journey and opportunities @ P&G. Entry-level jobs make more than $40,000 a year. The recruiter will also present to talk about how to apply, interviewing and skills needed. https://us.pg.com/

Thursday, Feb 1: Schlotterbeck & Foss is a food production company in Westbrook with well paying entry-level jobs with full benefits available for high school graduates. Meet with the HR manager to learn more and how to apply. https://www.schlotterbeck-foss.com/

Thursday, Feb. 8: Home Depot  Learn about careers at Home Depot, how to apply, college tuition reimbursement, university partnerships, and starting wages of $11 or more an hour
