The School-Wide Poetry Out Loud Competition is on Wednesday, 10/20 at 1:30 in the Auditorium. If you qualified please make sure to return your contract to the library. If you have any questions, please contact the library staff.
The Trailblazer Club will be going to the Maine Warrior Gym on Wednesday, December 20, after school from 2-4PM. See Mr. Davis to get a permission slip.
The Civil Rights Team Bonfire has been rescheduled for this Thursday, December 21st at 4:30. We will be burning away the hate, and celebrating the Winter Solstice! There will be hot chocolate being sold for a dollar. Everyone is welcome to come!
Seniors - we are having a raffle and your name will automatically be entered if you complete your FAFSA by December 31, 2017 We want to encourage all of you to complete your FAFSA early and we are here to help you complete it. In January, we will be notified which Westbrook seniors have completed their FAFSA. Take advantage of this opportunity to win a cool prize and get money for college. See Mrs. Sturgis or your school counselor for help with completing your FAFSA or with any questions.
Elizabeth Stalling, WHS class of 2015, will be at the high school to talk with students about college life and Plymouth State University. She would like to speak with any student interested in learning more about attending Plymouth State. She will be here during ACE on Thursday, Jan. 4. If you are interested, you can sign up in Naviance or send Mrs. Sturgis an email and she will tag you for that day.
Math Center is open on Mondays and Thursdays in room 104 from 2:30-4:00.
BIKES: If you ride a bike to school it should always be locked up. If you do not have a bike lock and need help getting one, please stop by the Main Office.
Students are required to purchase a parking pass for $6.00 in the Main Office to be eligible to park in the Student Lot at the high school. Students who do not have a parking pass will be ticketed. Students are not allowed to park in the teacher lot.
