WHS' LGBT+ club will be meeting on Thursdays after school in Ms. Joyce's room – 108 The National Honor Society will be holding a brief 10-15 meeting on Thursday Feb. 1st, directly after school in room 211. All members are required to be present for this important informational meeting. Any Freshmen, Sophomores, or Juniors who are interested in possibly participating in volleyball for next year to see Sophie Sweet or Gracia Bareti so they can sign the petition to create a team. We are having our class number picture today (MONDAY, 1/29) during ACE. Go to ACE for attendance and then report to the gym directly after the Pledge. The wrestling team went 3-0 this past weekend with wins against Windham, Kennebunk and Cheverus. Westbrook Cheering placed 5th out of 15 teams at the regional competition and will be advancing to the state competition for the first time in 10 years. Are you a writer? Congratulations to following track & field athletes at the Dartmouth Relays Mahamed Sharif for his 3rd place finish in the 400 Dominic Creenan for his 4th place finish in the long jump and 9th place finish in triple jump Nyagoa Bayak for her two 1st place finishes in the high jump and triple jump Nyagoa also set two school records with her jumps - 5'9" in high jump and 37'3.25" in triple jump Auditions for this year's one-act festival play will be held next Monday, January 8th, from 2:45 to 4:30 after school in the auditorium.
